Full Introduction
Jean Piaget was a renown Swiss psychologist who is best known and remembered for his pioneering work on the development of intelligence in children. Piaget’s fundamental studies continue to have valuable impact both on the fields of psychology and education. Through Piaget’s dynamism, his studies have enriched the lives and works of psychologists and philosophers of science, educationists, logicians concerned about "natural thinking," as well as to a host of other fields consisting of students or specialists (Valsiner, 2001; Egan2002; Duckworth, 2007). One of Piaget’s greatest contributions is in the area of cognitive development, particularly concerning the development of thought and its relations to language patterns in children.
